Roo Tech Services LLC is a veteran-owned managed IT and cybersecurity provider based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Founded in 2018 by U.S. Marine Corps veteran Shannon Jones, we support small and mid-sized businesses across East Tennessee with onsite and remote IT support.

Shannon Jones: Marine, technician, and the person who answers your call
Shannon Jones founded Roo Tech Services in Knoxville in October 2018 after more than 20 years working in IT across a wide range of industries — from small offices with a handful of users to larger organizations with complex networks.
Shannon served in the United States Marine Corps from 2000 to 2004, including an overseas deployment to Iraq in 2003 during Operation Iraqi Freedom. The Corps taught him resilience and how to adapt and overcome any obstacle put in front of him — lessons he brings to every client.

He started Roo Tech because too many small businesses were stuck with IT that was either reactive, confusing, or both. Today he still works hands-on with every client, so you always know who is taking care of your systems — and you always get a straight answer.
